Doug Armstrong Retires

After 47 years in the adhesive industry, Doug Armstrong has decided to retire. Doug has developed a reputation as one of the industry’s most knowledgeable and capable problem solvers. His customers have counted on his expertise for years as their adhesive needs and requirements change from year to year. Undoubtedly, he will be missed not only by his customers but also by the many friends and co-workers who have collaborated with him over the past 47 years.

As many of you know, Doug has worked for The Reynolds Company for the past 12 years. He has been a pillar of the sales team and a significant contributor to the growth and profitability of the company. Doug is one of those rare individuals everyone likes, and his presence drives people to perform at a higher level. All will surely notice the absence of Doug.

Doug plans to stay in Dallas, Georgia, where he currently resides. Doug and his wife Madelyn have been married for 48 years and have four children and six grandchildren. Doug’s many hobbies in his free time include military history and collecting militaria. Doug recently shared, “I will soon get to spend more time in the woods hunting, metal detecting, and getting more involved with the grandkid’s sports activities.”
